The AGS Executive Board has overall operational responsibility for managing central AGS activities. Membership consists of one or two faculty representatives from each of the AGS focus centers. The EB chair is elected yearly based on the rotation of the four partners, and reports to the respective AGB chair. The EB holds strategy meetings at least twice a year and meets monthly via conference call.

In addition, each faculty representative coordinates a local team organizing AGS activities at their Alliance Focus Center.
